Having fun at school festival in Poland

 

Our school's festival was absolutely fantastic! There were so many fun activities to do, games , students' talent show, delicious food and live music. Hilda was having a great fun.

Connecting with Nature: Our School Trip to Załęcze Landscape Park

 

                Załęcze landscape park offered us a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of our environment and learn about the importance of ecological balance.

                Our beekeeper guide explained the fascinating world of bees and their crucial role in our ecosystem. We learned about the honey-making process and make honey wax candles.

A Day of Fun and Learning at Mr. Kleks' fairy tale in Katowice

 

            We took Hilda on an exciting trip to the Academy of Mr. Kleks in Katowice, Poland. We spent the day exploring the interactive exhibits, solving riddles, and participating in fun experiments. The academy brought the magical world of Mr. Kleks to life, making learning both enjoyable and educational.

One of the highlights of our trip was the chemistry lab, where we conducted our own experiments. It was amazing to see how science can be so much fun! We also loved the art studio, where we created our own masterpieces inspired by the stories of Mr. Kleks.

Learning and playing in the forest

Did you know that Slovenia is a country of forests, which cover almost 60% of its surface? In percentage of forest cover, Slovenia comes in the third place in the European Union, after Sweden and Finland. Slovenians feel strongly connected with the forest. This is shown by the fact that one in four Slovenians is a forest-owner. Without forests, Slovenians can hardly imagine their past, present and future. Jaka took me to a nearby forest with the children from 5b class.

Exploring geological past in Vulkanija

In June Jaka and me joined the 5th class on their class trip to Prekmurje. We went to The Vulkanija Adventure Park which presents the forces within the Earth’s core and the geological processes that take place on or near the surface. These forces have been shaping the land and sea throughout the history of our planet and have also played a significant role in the geological history of Goričko region. We learnt about the power of volcanoes and their activity through images, text and film, through play and interactive content, all of which left a lasting impression and helped us overcome our fear of volcanoes.

My adventures in June in Slovenia

Hi, I am in Slovenia now. The time passes very quickly. In June the Slovenian children spent the last weeks at school. Jaka, my Slovenian friend invited me to take part in some activities. Jaka and me accompanied the 4th grade students on the sports day. We gave instructions for humorous relay games and cheered very sportily. We also exercised with the students and encouraged them to succeed in sports. In the end, I realized that movement is sometimes tiring, but it can be a lot of fun. I decided to exercise every day and so I will try to find another delicious pear.
